Gusto Rubin – a modern, retro-novelty
A wide range of display cabinets is available in the Gusto service counter line. The latest novelty in the range is Gusto Rubin, with a vertical front window and horizontal countertop that convey a real sense of distinction.
Chief designer Jouni Keski-Hynnilä feels that there is definite demand on the market for this design.
“The previous trend favoured rounded and curved glass, but now we have reached the opposite extreme. This modern retro-style design envisages a new look for service counters.”
The detailed development work for the Gusto Rubin appliance took a whole year. The first model was completed in August 2010, after which several modifications were made to the display case. Now this retro-style modern novelty is ready. Norpe is highly satisfied with the outcome, as it satisfies demand while also meeting exacting quality standards.
The new Rubin differs from other members of the range only in appearance. Its technical features are familiar high standard Gusto quality. Rubin is ideal for all kind of fish, meat, cold cuts, cheeses and semi-finished foods. It is available in normal straight elongated forms with the same standard features and optional extras as other products in the Gusto range. Rubin also features a unique finishing on the aluminium supporting arms, which give the appearance of stainless steel.
Keski-Hynnilä says that typical Gusto Rubin customers are top-end shops seeking to invest in interior design. There is a market for the Rubin model in Finland, Poland and other countries such as Germany, and the novelty has also attracted attention in Russia, Sweden and Norway. A few installations are already being supplied as special deliveries, but the official product launch will take place in the early autumn.
Let’s bid a warm welcome to Gusto Rubin!
